3. Third Parties
Service Providers: We outsource some of BrightStreet’s functions to third-party providers, such as technical and customer support, tracking and reporting functions, quality assurance testing, and other services. Aggregate Information: We may share user information in the aggregate with third parties, such as, without limitation, advertisers and Merchants. Except as otherwise set forth herein, we reserve the right to share such information to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws.
Business Transfers: We may share information from or about you with subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control, in which case we will require them to honor this Privacy Statement. If another company acquires BrightStreet or all or substantially all of our assets, that company will possess the same information, and will assume the rights and obligations with respect to that information as described in this Privacy Statement.
Merchants: We may share information from or about you (such as your age and gender) and your use of the Site (such as which Merchant Offerings you redeem or share with friends) with Merchants on BrightStreet. Investigations: We may investigate and disclose Personal Information from or about you if we have a good faith belief that such investigation or disclosure is (a) reasonably necessary to comply with legal process and law enforcement instructions and orders, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, judicial proceeding, or other legal process served on us; (b) helpful to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Site; or (c) protect our rights, reputation, property, or that of our users, affiliates, or the public.

5. Accessing and Correcting Personal Information

If you want to close your BrightStreet account or have other questions or requests, please contact us. While we are ready to assist you in managing or closing your account, we cannot always delete records of past interactions and transactions. For example, we are required to retain records relating to previous redemptions of Merchant Offerings on the Site for reporting and compliance reasons.
We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and to maintain a record of your transactions for reporting purposes. We will retain and use your Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
6. Merchant Information
BrightStreet may aggregate and store information, including, without limitation, the number of users who have been exposed to or redeemed certain Merchant Offerings through the Site, as well as information we collect in connection with Merchant Offerings made available through the Site. We use Merchant information to, inter alia, track usage of the Site and Merchant Performance, provide feedback to Merchants that are listed on the Site, provide Merchant performance data to third parties and BrightStreet’s affiliates, and enhance the services made available through the Site.
7. Privacy Practices of Third Parties
This Privacy Statement only addresses the use and disclosure of information by BrightStreet through your interaction with the Site. Other websites that may be accessible through links from the Site may have their own privacy statements and personal information collection, use, and disclosure practices. Our Merchants may also have their own privacy statements. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the privacy statements provided by these other parties prior to providing them with information or taking advantage of a sponsored offer or promotion.
8. Children’s Privacy
BrightStreet does not intend that any portion of the Site will be accessed or used by children under the age of thirteen, and such use is prohibited. The Site is designed and intended for adults. By using BrightStreet, you represent that you are at least eighteen years old and understand that you must be at least eighteen years old in order to create an account and redeem or share Merchant Offerings advertised through the Site. We will promptly delete information associated with any account upon becoming aware that such account is associated with a registered user who is not at least eighteen years old.
